I wanted to create a luxury hotel bedroom suite look for my client which I achieved by using a favourite multi coloured Amalia silk stripe from Rubelli, checked lilac silk Victor also from Rubelli for the dressing chair and bed pillows edged in aubergine glass beads from Nina Campbell complemented by walnut mirrored doors for the wardrobe system.
  
Quilted Stardust silk from Rubelli was used for cushions and then contrast provided by duck egg glass beads from Osborne & Little while the Amalia was again used for a tailored upholstered headboard. Custom made Walnut bedside tables; dressed with crystal stacking glass cube lamps from Porta Romana, complemented with hand pleated silk chiffon silk was used for the shades. I chose a crackle base cloth Brancusi from Rubelli for the curtains and upholstered pelmet and finished them with the duck egg glass beads.
Finally, a custom made console/dressing table in lilac lacquer, with a matching framed mirror; and on a practical note, the top drawer of the console contains power supply to store my client’s hairdryer, easy, compact and hidden away.
