I wanted to create a restful relaxing space for my clients who have both busy working and social lives so I designed a look which comprises clean line furniture with forged stacked metal table lamps with sumptuous chocolate silk shades from Porta Romana, the headboard and ottoman dressed in petrol blue Bises from Rubelli, while simple white Frette bed linen exudes an air of tranquility; all of which then provides perfect framework for my clients’ own artwork.
To complement the bedroom, I designed this luxury en-suite bathroom to be both aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional; a large walk in mosaic shower from The House of Mosaics and a mixture of marble and glass beaded wallpaper from Ulf Mortiz provides an interesting mix of textures for the walls, all of which is then set off by dark Wenge custom made furniture and white sanitary ware from CP Hart.
Redesigning this kitchen and conservatory brought additional light and a sensation of greater space to this area. I also took the opportunity to incorporate a more casual dining area in the kitchen specifically designed to allow my clients to fully appreciate their beautiful garden. In order to manage the transition from interior to exterior I used celadon green paint for the conservatory woodwork and wood reef blinds and neutral damask in French linen for the upholstered furniture. The look is completed with grey marble flooring and colour from Cymbidium orchids.
An eclectic mix of textures for a drawing room: pleated Crush Gala damask wallcovering by Brian Yates, enhanced by the ‘Sorbonne’ glass chandelier from Vaughan Lighting reflecting in a warm bronze decorative mirror from our mirror collection finished with the warmth of a modern fireplace with polished steel fire dogs from Chesney’s.
