| Summer in Ealing 2007 - Winner of Best Dressed Window |

Bids council were responsible for organising Summer Jazz and Opera events around the Ealing community. This also included best dressed shop window, participants were asked to dress their windows with a theme for the summer festival.
Andrew Wright, winner of best dressed window describes his winning theme:
“I wanted to create a vision of summer using large metallic stone vases from Paris filled with long steel grass and pink and orange Gerbera’s. A picnic hamper filled with summer fruits and a glass of Pimm’s no 1. Our theme was completed with burning a Manuel Canovas pastoral fragrant candle and a flute to serenade a loved one”.

Shop windows in Ealing were judged by the Bids Council and The Gazette newspaper and the winner Andrew Wright was presented with an organic food hamper from Marks and Spencer of Ealing by store manager Paul Witham.
